We are delighted to announce our next guided visit will be to Northern Lights Studios to visit two of our local makers.
After a cup of tea or coffee at Ryde cafe on arrival, we will visit Mark Fenn’s glass studio to see him glassblowing his unique honey-infused glass, and we will also enjoy a visit to Simon Shaw’s ceramics studio to hear him speak about his working methods and see him demonstrate making a ceramic vessel. Each studio visit will last approximately 45 minutes.

Northern Lights Studios contains artist studios, gallery spaces, workshop units, a music rehearsal space and Ryde cafe. It is a subsidiary of Baltic Creative who house a range of creative minds. The studios are based in Baltic Triangle, an area of the city which has been regenerated into a hub of culture and creativity.
£10 per place (includes tea or coffee on arrival). Please pay in *cash only*, either on the day to Gill or Linda or at Bluecoat Display Centre, to secure your place. (We have a limited amount of spaces available for this trip so book early to ensure your place.)

The studios are located at 5 Mann Street, Baltic Triangle, Liverpool, L8 5AF. There is a Pay & Display car park next to Northern Lights. It is a 25 minute walk from the Bluecoat Display Centre to Northern Lights Studios.
