During this workshop, the group created a ceramic sculpture in the shape of a dog in a crouching pose from wire and papier-mâché which was then painted. The piece was large and ambitious in scale, and was named ‘Buddy’ by the group. It was used as a centre piece to illustrate the positive impact of volunteers and their work upon communities.
“Speaking to the participants after the workshops, they all enjoyed being involved in the workshop as well as its delivery by Alison.”
– Senior Project Worker, Mi Champions
“The group worked well together, there are clear benefits in terms of team work. An exciting workshop with a diverse group.”
