Christine taught participants simple folding techniques to create a collection of cards, small books and surprising structures that they were able to take home.
Group members were very creative and worked well independently. They made a beautiful selection of cards and objects, and enjoyed a mutually supportive and sociable environment. Participants were able to take away techniques and ideas to explore in their own time.
““It’s my first visit to the centre in 3 months, I’m making a folded card for a friend.”
– Participant
“[The participants] were all very creative and also very independent. I was really very impressed with their enthusiasm and ideas. I really liked the fact that the session became a partnership between the group and myself. I was leading them as much as they were leading me. The group was very nice, and everybody was interested, very keen on making cards.”
