The Bluecoat Display Centre is a registered charity dedicated to making contemporary craft accessible for all. Through our gallery and outreach programmes, we support makers, including early career artists and those from the North West; enrich lives through education and diverse community engagement; and provide therapeutic and educational benefits to disadvantaged Merseyside communities through workshops and residencies led by our skilled professional craftspeople.
However you choose to support us, your generosity enables us to continue to champion contemporary craft and independent studio-based makers, and to share the benefits of creativity for mental and physical wellbeing:
– Purchasing an item of contemporary craft directly helps the Bdc to support our studio based artists and makers
– Becoming a Friend of the Bdc enables us to host an on-going programme of talks, workshops, trips and events
– Making a donation allows us to maintain a high quality exhibition programme
– Leaving a legacy or bequest enables us to continue our outreach programmes working with social care groups and local hospitals to demonstrate the benefit that craft can have on a person’s health and wellbeing
Thank you.
