Harbour and Sea inspired Ceramics.

Alison’s coastal pieces have been inspired by the South Coast for years. Growing up her holidays were often in Cadgwith, Cornwall, where trips on her family friends fishing boat were an annual event. She has been making coastal pieces for nearly 20 years in central
Oxfordshire. She visits the sea whenever possible.

Alison studied for a Ceramics degree at Camberwell College of Arts, London. She set up a workshop in South Oxfordshire in the late 90’s and Oxfordshire Arts, with her partner, in 2012. In 2017 they designed a purpose built Ceramic studio, to teach all aspects of ceramics and to pass on her clay passion to others. She exhibits in several galleries and is an Associate member of the Craft Potters Association.
