The Bluecoat Display Centre has been selling and exhibiting the best of contemporary craft work for over sixty years. We currently represent over 300 makers per year and we continue to source new makers to the gallery. Both established and new makers are encouraged to apply for selection. All of our makers have been selected because of their individuality and skills.

To make an application please provide the following information:

–  A current CV (max. 2 pages)

–  A selection of good quality digital images (max. 6 images, 2MB per image)

–  A brief statement citing inspiration, technical details, materials and processes (max. 500 words)

–  A price list quoting wholesale or retail prices

Your application will be reviewed by our selection committee and you will be notified by email of their decision. (Please note: we are unable to review applications during December).

If your application is successful the work will be exhibited on a three month trial sale or return basis. All work sold is paid for by monthly account. Makers should ensure that if work is sold that you are in a position to provide regular stock replacements. For this reason student work is not accepted for application.

Bluecoat Display Centre continue to work to increase the proportion of ethnically and culturally diverse makers we represent, and welcome applications from across all communities and backgrounds.
