Anastassia Zamaraeva is a London-based artist working primarily in clay. Influenced by her training as an art psychotherapist, her practice explores our relationships we have with ourselves, our environments and our loved ones.

Drawing on lived experience, Anastassia works intuitively, moving between states of melancholy, discomfort and humour. Working primarily with figurative sculpture, craftsmanship and material focus are central to her approach. Her work is characterised by tenderness and intimacy, giving form to experiences that are often hard to articulate with words.
