Christine Kaltoft

Material: Jewellery | Location: Somerset
‘I design and make graphic contemporary jewellery. Much of my jewellery is inspired by the behaviour of birds - my pet hens and others.

These collections are made in sterling silver, sometimes oxidised to a graphic grey and sometimes plated in 18 carat gold.
The processes I use include soldering, forging, laser welding, and casting.

Since graduating in 2007 I have exhibited widely in top UK venues including Goldsmiths’ Fair, Origin, and the Contemporary Craft Festival in Bovey Tracey. Images of my work also appear in several books and journals.'
