Claire graduated from London Metropolitan University in 2005, after studying Silversmithing, Jewellery and Allied crafts. Her graduate collection comprised of resin and real tea leaves. Claire explored the traditions of tea drinking and how tea could be sued as a material in its own right to make contemporary jewellery.

After graduating Claire continued to develop and produce contemporary jewellery to be sold at exhibitions, craft events and through galleries and shops countrywide. Her continual interest in materials and processes helps her work progress: she finds her work develops best when working and experimenting.

Claire and her family relocated to Devon at the end of 2016. The inspiring surroundings of the sea and living in a smaller community has been great for Claire's creativity.
