It’s a privilege to present my work at the Bluecoat Display Centre Winter Show. I’ve created a collection of vases and bottles designed to exist in quiet harmony within the home. My greatest motivation comes from a deep appreciation for the material qualities of clay. I find immense satisfaction in both the design and making process, and I hope that each piece reflects this connection. For me, creating is a meditative practice: a delicate balance of form, proportion, and function. I’m always seeking that focused, contemplative state through making, it gives me energy, and purpose to my mind and hands.
