Dom Marshall
Material: Mixed Media | Location: Staffordshire
From his kitchen table in North Staffordshire, Dom's screen prints explore colour, geometric pattern, typography and pop culture underlined by his sense of humour. He aims to create work that is both cool, experimental and that brings a smile to the face. Work that is inspired by his collections of ‘stuff’ around his home, by mid-century ceramics and by designers like Barney Bubbles, Susie Cooper and Eric Ravilious.
Dom has recently developed his screen printed ideas into ceramics in collaboration with his wife, and fellow designer, Keeley Traae. The couple first met in the design studio at Wedgwood 30 years ago and are now rekindling their love for ceramics with a collection of unique slip cast vases, modelled by Keeley and decorated by Dom.
