Elin Isaksson started her training at Orrefors Glass School in Sweden and then graduated from Edinburgh College of Art with an MA in Design & Applied Arts in 2006. She is now working from her own glass blowing studio in Dunblane.

Elin makes hand blown and sand cast glass, and her designs are elegant, contemporary and tactile using Scandinavian forms in subtle colour blends. She often stretches or bends the glass to keep a sense of movement and to capture the intense energy when working with molten glass.

Elin mainly produces production pieces for galleries and makes bespoke hand blown glass for lighting and sculpture.
