My inspiration has derived from the examination of positive and negative spaces in the natural world. Both bold pattern and rich colour have influenced my experimentation and exploration, assisting in the projection of my designs into a ceramic media.

I have focused on the skill involved in mould-making, slip-casting and the arbitrary nature of slip-trailing, developing my research into the technicalities of glaze experimentation to create a vast array of tonal colour throughout my work. My unique decorative bowls encompass contemporary trend awareness while maintaining the unique, decorative and delicate nature of their original inspiration. They are bold in colour and range from hand-held bowls to large statement pieces.
