Jill lives in Manchester, on the edge of the Peak District, and works in silver and gold. She originally trained as a restorer and water gilder and her jewellery reflects her artisan training and love of minimal design.

Jill is strongly influenced by Manchester’s industrial past. She is drawn to the bold, minimal shapes of Victorian machinery and the rich, woven textures of cottons and silks.

She uses traditional tools and techniques, adding subtle texture, to produce unique, elegant jewellery that is highly wearable, tactile and made to keep.
