John Crook

Material: Metalwork | Location: Merseyside
John's silverware is produced using hand raising and, more recently, casting techniques. His pieces often successfully combine the contemporary combination of silver and acrylic. Recent pieces include hand turned wood boxes with intricately cast silver flower decoration.

'During my years in dental practice I enjoyed an interest in precious metalwork. In 1999 I attended Warrington Collegiate and obtained a City & Guilds in Silversmithing. Since then I have worked from my studio at home on private commissions and exhibited locally.'
