My inspiration for the aesthetical side of my silver tableware and jewellery comes from the natural world; focusing on changes within natural objects. Visually breaking down the organic research which I have carried out provides me with ideas for form and texture, keeping elements of these natural influences visible in my finished pieces are as important as the usability.

It is very rewarding to transform silver into an elegant, gentle, organic form. My aim is to produce a tactile item whether a simple teaspoon or an elegant pendant, encouraging people to touch, feel and engage with the piece. I create this through contrasting forged texture, fresh polished finish, clean lines and a simple shape, which exhibits a beautiful fluid quality.
