Mary Kennedy
Material: Jewellery | Location: Perthshire
Mary Kennedy has been making jewellery since her days at art college in 1976. In 2001 she was offered the opportunity to travel to Honolulu, to live and train with her cousin, a top jewellery designer famed throughout the islands. It was here that she developed her love of colours, inspired by the bright tropical sunlight and the magic of the Pacific Ocean.
Having returned to the UK, Mary now sources materials from all over the world, including pearls, beads and silks, to create modern jewellery suited to women of all ages. The range includes many styles from long elegant necklaces, to short oriental collars. From the large collection of beads and pearls Mary has built up over the years, she is able to match colours to customer’s special requirements, and is always happy to receive commissions for unique pieces.
