I am interested in how we inhabit, engage with and psychologically respond to the built environment. This provides me with a lens through which I explore urban spaces and examine the human presence embedded within it. Working in ceramic, print and fabric allows me to interpret the city’s material landscape creating works that are a hybrid of urban structure and human experience. My work is a dialogue between people and place revealing how our presence both shapes and is shaped by the environments we inhabit and how the two are inextricably bound.
