I work from my studio in Mossley Hill, Liverpool. I use the many disciplines learnt at college to design, cut and construct leather and textile bags. Hand and machine sewing is used to create a range of styles inspired by contemporary fashion and period costume, with attention paid to quality, longevity and functionality.

I am a great believer in making things which will last and improve with time, reflective of the fabulous garments and accessories from the past made by hand, with skill and passion.

The leather used is chosen for its feel, colour and quality, and is combined with textiles which compliment both in pattern and texture - these drive the design of each bag, influencing its shape and character.

I am keen to pass on and rekindle these skills, and teach part time in local junior schools, FE colleges and community centres.
