On Saturday 30 November 2024 we will be joined in the gallery by textile designer Sally-Anne Thompson.
Sally-Anne uses a variety of techniques to design, cut and construct leather and textile bags. Hand and machine sewing is used to create a range of styles inspired by contemporary fashion and period costume, with attention paid to quality, longevity and functionality.
She is a great believer in making things which will last and improve with time, reflective of the fabulous garments and accessories from the past made by hand, with skill and passion.
Booking is not required for this event, just pop in between 2pm – 4pm to gain a valuable insight into the work of these talented makers.
